Massage Therapy Training

We are offering a 1 year part-time training program in Massage Therapy. This program is designed to meet the needs for individuals to safely and effectively provide general relaxation massage to clients.

The program is designed to provide a retirement based vocation where graduates may open up local or mobile based massage practices. Many people considering retirement are choosing to remain active in their retirement years with activities to not just keep them as busy as they wish to be, but also augment the fixed income status of registered retirement savings plans.

A massage vocation can be easily carried into the latter years of one's life. It is a healthy active and social activity that can produce monetary return. One's clentele can be easily managed and can be selected personally by the massage practitioner.

How much time spent doing massage is strictly set by the individual. So it's like having a past-time to do in retirement that keeps you physically active, socially connected to people and provides the important purpose so many retired people report wanting after a lifetime in the work force.

With the growing number of baby boomers now approaching retirement themselves, there is a projected increase in the number of people who will be seeking the services of a capable massage therapist. This generation has typically more disposable income than previous generations as well as increasing attention to their physical health and well being.

This is where you can come in. The program is designed for you to be able to take part-time training, while finishing off the last few years of your current job. When you are ready to retire, you can then begin a part- time vocation in massage therapy. Work as many or as few hours a week as you wish, booking clients in according to your retirement schedule. Earn some extra money and a whole lot of enjoyment and satisfaction. You can still contribute for your "winter"years.

Think about becoming a part-time Massage Therapist in your retirement and contact our college to find out more about the Fredom 55 retirement vocational plan.
