WAYNE B. BAITON, W.C.(Hon.),(Sp.T.), L.C.S.P.(Phys.) The Principal of the Regina Campus was born in 1964 in Regina, Saskatchewan. Wayne ’s formal achievements include, an Instructor’s Level Certificate from , Chung Hua Chinese Martial Art’s System, a Certificate of Remedial Massage from the Northern Institute of Massage Therapies, a Certificate of Remedial Massage from the Northern College of Physical Therapies, Blackpool, England and a Certificate on Sports Massage from the Sports Massage Training Institute, Costa Mesa, California. For his devotion to Instruction and curriculum development Wayne was awarded the Wellington College Honours distinction in 1998. Wayne ’s massage career was inspired by his Chinese Kung Fu Sifu, Chi Wai Lee.
Wayne wishes to extend deep gratitude to Mr. Randy Ellingson and Dr. Ron Taylor, for contributing their knowledge and experience in order for Western College to develop a strong clinical and theoretical foundation to the program ciriculum.
Wayne strive's to move massage into “first option” Healthcare for musculo-skeletal injury and dysfunction and seek to provide continuing opportunity for intrinsically motivated students. Wayne ’s vision of a Western College graduate is to be stimulated by the experience, to have a true desire to continue learning, educate the public and to carry on the past and recent developments in our field.
As a practicing Massage Therapist since 1990 and Instructing since 1992, Wayne's experience in the field has allowed him to guide his instructors in their efforts to nurture the intrinsic desire of their students. He continues to inject the college programming with inovative methods of teaching and delivering the cirriculum.

He considers himself a very fortunate person and continually grateful for the opportunities and treasures which fill his life.
Married to his beautiful wife Susan they love a daughter Corisa and Granddaughters Taylor and Graison. His adventurous spirit has lead him to pursue some challenging and rewarding recreations and past times.
The most pure human emotion is that of being truly grateful.
